Overview
Embreate is an award-winning web series creator seeking a Black female voice actor for our newest web series Future Now. The first voice assignment will be to record lines (from your home studio) as a charismatic, wise and determined 16-18 year old Black woman who has survived an apocalypse. The ideal voice-over candidate will be able to assist in speaking the roles of numerous characters across dozens of episodes.

- Pay Rate: Flat fee C$250 Non-Union

The Project
“Future Now” is an anthology-style animated web series set in Earth’s future where five competing factions battle in the throes of environmental, economic and cultural revolution to determine humanity’s ultimate destiny. Each webisode is based on actual expert predictions in science and technology.
Character
Sinder (16-18 yo woman) – She is smart and she does not care what people think about her so she is a misfit. She is prone to being brutally truthful and very direct which makes her a difficult friend. She is brave, she is curious, she is persistent, and she is a survivor in a difficult world. She has been forced to grow up too fast.
Skills/Qualifications
- Must sound like a 16-18 year old woman
- Demonstrated experience with diverse range of character voices
